The basics  

·        The numerical reasoning test is designed to measure not so much your mathematical ability but more your ability to quickly and accurately analyse numerical data, interpret graphic data, identify critical issues, and logically draw conclusions from numerical data.

·        The level of difficulty of the numerical reasoning test differs according to the relevant organisational level and function. This means, for example, that if you are applying for a role in finance, you are most likely to get a more difficult test than someone applying for a role in human resources.

·        There are several numerical reasoning tests in the market. The number of questions may vary between different tests.

·        The numerical reasoning test is timed. Although different tests may have different time limits, you should expect to be given approximately 50 seconds per question.

·        The test is designed so only 1% to 2% of test-takers can correctly answer all questions within the time limit.

·         The most difficult questions are placed at the end of the test.
