Half-day psychometric testing workshop

 

Part 1 - Psychometric testing 

  • Experience taking an actual psychometric test - numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, abstract reasoning and personality. 
  • The test will match the level of difficulty and skills required in the job you have applied for.
  • Receive personalised feedback from one of our organisational psychologists on your test results with practical recommendations on what you can do to land the job.
Part 2 – Improve your psychometric test scores 

You will receive intensive training on how to improve your psychometric test scores:
 
  • Verbal test preparation – we will explore effective test-taking strategies for the verbal reasoning test; discuss the logical assumptions underpinning verbal reasoning test questions, and review test question samples.
  • Numerical test preparation – we will cover the different types of numerical reasoning test questions, practise numerical reasoning test questions, and learn strategies for quickly solving these.
  • Abstract test preparation – we will cover a number of models and patterns of transformation, the logical rules between shapes in a series, and practise different types of test questions, learning how to solve each one.
  • Personality test preparation - provides valuable inside information on how personality tests measure your work-related personality, you will familiarise yourself with example questions, discover how honesty detectors are used to analyse your responses, identify the personality traits required for the job you applied for and learn how to emphasise your strengths relevant to the job you applied for and improve your weaknesses.
      

One full-day assessment centre workshop

Part 1 – Psychometric testing

  • Experience taking an actual psychometric test - numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, abstract reasoning and personality.
  • The test will match the level of difficulty and skills required in the job you have applied for.
  • Later in the day, you will receive individual feedback from organisational psychologists on your test results and recommendations on what to do and not to do in the psychometric test.

Part 2 – Improve your psychometric test scores 

You will receive intensive training on how to improve your psychometric test scores:

Part 3 – Group simulation exercise

  • Take part in a group simulation exercise run by organisational psychologists.
  • Discover what to expect in a group simulation, how you are being assessed, how you are expected to behave during a group exercise, and what you should and shouldn’t do to shine in the group simulation.

Part 4 – Personal interview with an organisational psychologist

  • You will be interviewed by one of our organisational psychologists.
  • You will be personally coached on improving your interview impact and successful interviewing techniques.

Part 5 – Feedback on your group simulation & psychometric test scores

  • Receive feedback from the organisational psychologists on your performance during the group simulation, and guidance on how to improve your performance in the context of the role you have applied for.
  • You will also be equipped with strategies and tips on how to improve your psychometric test scores, emphasise your strengths relevant to the role you applied for, and improve your weaknesses.
